Belfast Stories is required by law to carry out a pre-application community consultation. This is a formal public consultation before the submission of a planning application. Its purpose is to make sure that communities are aware of, and have an opportunity to comment on, our proposals before we submit our planning application.
This consultation builds on the two previous consultations carried out in 2022 and 2024.
This process begins on 13 November 2025 and will run for 12 weeks until 5 February 2026. We have events planned across the city to allow people to have their say. All events are drop in and do not need to be booked in advance except the public tours of the site.
