Nature Towns and Cities Belfast Stakeholder Forum
We have been awarded a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund for our Nature Towns and Cities Project for Belfast that we are delivering in partnership with Ulster Wildlife. Our aim is to develop a shared city-wide blueprint to facilitate informed decision making to create a nature-rich, climate resilient, thriving city.
As we begin this ambitious programme, we are bringing together organisations, community leaders, partners and stakeholders from across the city to help shape the vision, priorities and partnerships that will guide this work.
Your experience, insight and connections within communities and organisations across Belfast will be invaluable to this conversation, and we would love for you to join us at our first stakeholder forum:
Wednesday 17 June
10:30am – 1:00pm
Riddel Hall, Stranmillis, Belfast
The forum will be an opportunity to:
• Learn more about the Nature Towns and Cities initiative in Belfast and how you can help shape the project
• Connect with others working across Belfast
• Share ideas, challenges and opportunities for increasing equitable access to nature across Belfast
• Explore how we can work together to create lasting impact
• Tell us how we can help you build capacity in your group or organisation
Lunch will be provided, and we will share a full agenda and further event details in early June.
Please be aware that due to venue capacity, we are only able accommodate a limited number of attendees. Spaces will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis and we will be in touch to confirm your place as soon as possible.
