This phase of the consultation has now concluded.
For Reference:
We've been holding workshops across the city to discuss what needs to go into the new Belfast Agenda. Now, we want to look at this from an equality and diversity perspective.
We want to make the Belfast Agenda as inclusive as possible and ensure that everyone in the city benefits. The Belfast Agenda is the shared plan for the city, so it's important that all our residents can have their say and that no-one is left behind.
To help us understand different needs, we are holding an Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Workshop on Monday 7 November from 5pm to 7pm in the Banqueting Hall in the City Hall.
In this workshop we want to hear from people who may find it more difficult to participate in our other workshops or who face specific challenges, for example, because they have a disability, English is not their first language or because of their age or other circumstance.
This workshop will look at the proposed action plans and explore:
The opportunities, challenges or barriers that you and your community face within each of our priorities.
What we can do through the Belfast Agenda to support you or your community so that everyone can benefit more equally from the Belfast Agenda?
Whether there any key issues that we have missed that you or your community would like to see included in the Belfast Agenda?
Please come along to share your experience of what matters most and makes a real difference to the people you work with or represent. if you require any assistance to participate in the workshop, such as interpreters, please let us know when registering.
You can read a summarised version of the Belfast Agenda and the proposed priorities in English and other key languages using the document download at the top right of this page. If you require a different format or language, please email communityplanning@belfastcity.gov.uk
Please note: that our Your Say Belfast platform also has the Reachdeck Toolbar that can be used to translate pages or apply a read aloud mode.
