Community Planning is about organisations working together to achieve city targets that make life better for those that live and work there. There are 4 boards - 1 of these in the Jobs, Skills and Education Board which looks at various areas. The Educational Inequalities Group is a group of people representing a wide range of organisations across the city (such as Universities/Colleges, Department for Education, Education Authority, Belfast City Council) working to help ensure that every young person in Belfast has the skills, qualifications and qualities needed to help them achieve their goals.

Would you like the opportunity to benchmark your business?
Launched in November 2023, Go Succeed is the new go to business service, funded by the UK Government and powered by the government’s Levelling Up Fund. It represents a multi-million-pound investment in local entrepreneurs and businesses and aims to provide a holistic approach to government support services with a greater focus on providing a tailored service to suit individual needs in a bid to foster enterprise across the region. Promising to support entrepreneurs, new starts and existing businesses across Northern Ireland the service is led by Northern Ireland’s 11 local Councils, and will deliver flexible support to service users, including mentoring, masterclasses, peer networks, access to grant funding, business plans and so much more.
An online benchmarking tool will form part of the enabling architecture of Go Succeed, supporting NI entrepreneurs and businesses to measure and compare their progress to drive improvement.
The key aims of a benchmarking tool:
- To enable new business owners the opportunity to access their progress against sector trends
- To enable comparisons with business peers on aspects such as productivity levels
- To provide good practice insights
- To provide NI businesses with case studies and success stories
We would like your feedback to understand what your needs are, so that we can incorporate these into the tool requirements. The questionnaire should take around 7 minutes. Thank you for your time,
Go Succeed
