This form is designed to capture information from large retail businesses who intend to extend their Sunday trading hours on 2 and/or 9 August 2026, during Fleadh Cheoil. Please note that you need to complete an individual form for each premises.

By submitting this form, you are giving notice of your intention of extending your Sunday Opening hours (outside of 1-6pm) as detailed below. The Information provided as part of this application may be disclosed in response to a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 or the Environmental Information Regulations 2004. Belfast City Council collects the data on this form for the purpose of administering Sunday Trading under The Shops (Sunday Trading &c.) (NI) Order 1997. The data collected on this form may be shared with the relevant council teams for the purposing of administering this scheme. Due to the pilot nature of this policy, you may also be contacted for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
