Section 1 - Glencairn Park to Forthriver Linear Park
We are consulting upon two pedestrian gates in this section that are connected directly onto the Greenway’s main lit spine at Forthriver Crescent and Forthriver Road and each lead towards the playpark.Operational arrangements for other access points that are not part of the current consultation include dawn-to-dusk access into site at Glencairn Park carpark through vehicle barrier and dawn-to-dusk access through pedestrian gate into the site at Forthriver Crescent adjacent to Fernhill House (not connected to the main spine). Vehicle access on Sommerdale Park into Clarendon Playing Fields is controlled via a key holding agreement with site management.
