Have your say on the NI Regional Planning Portal – Customer Survey 2026

The NI Regional Planning Portal has been in operation since December 2022, supporting planning services across 10 local councils, the Department for Infrastructure, and the Regional Property Certificate Unit. Now that the system has been in place for a few years, we’d really like to hear how it’s working for you.

Whether you use the system to submit planning applications, comment on applications, respond to consultations, request property certificates, or simply search for planning information, your experience is important to us. Your feedback helps us understand what’s working well and where we can make improvements, so the system continues to support everyone who uses it.

We won’t ask for any personal contact details. We may ask for your job role or the organisation you work in, but this is only to help us understand the needs of different user groups. All feedback will be collated and shared with the 10 councils, the Department for Infrastructure, and the Regional Property Certificate Unit, but no individual will be identified. 

The survey is coordinated by the Intelligent Client Function (ICF), a shared service hosted by Belfast City Council (BCC) on behalf of all partner organisations. BCC processes your personal data for the purpose of the administration of the planning service in Northern Ireland.
