Legal Services Survey 2024

The Legal Services Section and it's predecessor in title, The Town Solicitor’s Office has been in existence for over 100 years. It has been providing legal services to Belfast City Council throughout that period and under the authority of section 105 of the Local Government (NI) Act 1972 has been providing legal services to a number of other district councils and the Fire & Rescue Services for over 30 years. The Department complies with the Law Society regulations, Solicitors Rules and all relevant regulatory legislation such as the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act.

We conduct an annual client survey to help us improve the service we provide and to ensure that the views of the users of legal services have an impact on the way services are delivered. The following are some of the areas where you may have dealings with us: property, developments, procurement, contracts, public and employer liability, motor insurance, prosecutions, environmental law, employment cases, statutory appeals, judicial reviews and general advice.

If you have any queries regarding the services that we provides or would like any issue clarified, please contact Paul Bradley on extension 028 90320202 ext. 6047.
