Consultation has concluded

Every year, councils in Northern Ireland must publish an improvement plan that sets out their improvement actions for the year ahead. This is a legal obligation referred to as our Duty to Improve.

Our Improvement Plan does not include everything that we plan to do in a given year, but instead focuses on a smaller set of key "improvement objectives". We take a number of issues into consideration when we are developing our objectives, including very importantly, the views of local residents.

This is your chance to have your say on our proposed improvement objectives for the year ahead - are we focusing on the right things, is anything missing or do you have ideas about what we need to do to achieve these improvements?

Our proposed improvement objectives for 2022-23 are:

Our services
We will continue to adapt and improve our services
Our communities
We will work to support our communities, helping them to become stronger, healthier and more resilient
Our economy
We will work collaboratively to support businesses, jobs and inclusive growth
Our environment
We will champion climate action; protect the environment and improve the sustainability of Belfast
Our city
We will continue to adapt and improve our services

Please tell us what you think of our proposed improvement objectives and the indicative improvement actions by completing our survey below. We will use your feedback to finalise our Improvement Plan 2022 - 23. This survey closes on 4 May 2022.
