The Disability Action Plan 2022 – 2025 is cross-departmental covering all our services.
The purpose of the plan is to:
ensure the council , working with communities and stakeholders, takes a lead role in improving the quality of life for disabled people in Belfast
address the inequalities experienced by disabled people and to tackle the barriers that disabled people continue to face in our society
meet our Disability Duties to “promote positive attitudes towards disabled people” and “encourage participation of disabled people in public life”
We want to know what you think about our proposed actions in the draft Disability Action Plan 2022 – 2025. For example, are they the right ones, is anything missing, or do you have any ideas about what else you would like to see included?
We will use your feedback to agree and refine our draft Disability Action Plan and actions for the period 2022 – 2025.
