Have you used our births, deaths, or marriage and civil partnerships service in the past two years? If so, help us improve these services by filling in our short survey.

Councils in Northern Ireland are responsible for registering births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships. Whilst there are certain legal requirements that we must adhere to, we want the process to be as easy as possible for users of our service.

To help us do this, we'd like to hear from you if you have used the Belfast City Council registration service in the last two years. We would also like to hear about your experience if you got married or formed a civil partnership at City Hall or at another venue with one of our Registrars. Your feedback will help us identify what we could do to improve the registration process or enhance the services we offer.

Legally, life events are required to be registered. Some of these events are happy occasions, others can be sad and stressful. We recognise that we must always be respectful and sensitive.

We understand that answering questions about registering a death of a loved may not be easy. However, your feedback could help ensure that other bereaved families are supported in the most appropriate and caring way.

Please complete the survey below based on which service you have used in the last two years. You can complete more than one survey if you have used more than one of our services.
