Our goal is to transition Belfast to an inclusive, net-zero emissions, climate-resilient economy in a generation.

Climate change is undoubtedly the biggest challenges our planet faces today. As a city, we have to rise to this challenge. We will all have to work together to reduce greenhouse gases and carbon emissions to make Belfast the carbon neutral, environmentally friendly city we want it to be.

Belfast has already shown that is a resilient city. One of our best strengths is our people and communities, who's compassion and sense of humour will get us through any challenge. That is why we have created this Climate Crisis and Resilient Belfast platform, so everyone in Belfast can share ideas, information and resources. Together, we can find solutions.
