What code-of-conduct/ rules do Cave Hill Country Park users including mountain bikers have to abide to?
All users of Cave Hill Country Park, must comply with BCC Byelaws for Regulation of Parks, 1st March 1994. Of particular relevance to the conduct of mountain biking is, Vehicles, Byelaw 12 (c) - which states:
“A person shall not ride any bike in a manner which is unsafe or likely to give reasonable cause for annoyance or alarm to other persons to the Park”
Through the pilot project Cavehill Mountain Bike Club have agreed to ensure that its member and their invitees will comply with all by-laws at all times.
