Consultation has concluded
Following approval from Council in December 2022 we are now ready to commence our final phase of consultation and engagement on our draft tree strategy. Thanks, to those of you who participated in the public survey on trees in Summer 2022 which supported the development of the draft tree strategy your input was invaluable , we listened to your views, and they helped shape this draft strategy . Belfast City Council has produced this Tree Strategy to help it manage and improve its tree-scape so that it can provide a resilient and diverse urban forest for future generations. We want you to view our tree strategy at www.belfastcity.gov.uk/treestrategy and give us your views on the strategy by the 24 April 2023
To support the development of the strategy we are also holding a number of community consultation and engagement events. We promise a warm welcome alongside a discussion about the Belfast Tree Strategy and also the opportunity to receive a free tree and specialist advice from experts on tree care. Please register using the form below .
