- that are existing activities (have already taken place or are already under way at the time of the assessment)
- are of a party-political nature;
- promote a particular religion;
- are not against Belfast City Council policy. (e.g. we do not allow balloon or Chinese lantern releases as they are against our environmental policy)
- Individuals involved in the delivery of the project are voluntary - that is, staff, volunteers or board members of the applicant organisation, cannot benefit personally from the award of this grant. This means that they cannot be paid for the provision of goods or services from the grant.
- Firework displays
- Clothing
- Alcohol
- Staff costs including payments made to volunteers
- Internet, Postage or telephone expenses
- Costs which are not clearly linked to the project.
- We will log all applications when we receive them.
- We will check your application to make sure it meets the eligibility criteria.
- We will be in touch regarding arranging a phone consultation and/or site visit to your alleyway.
- If successful for this Pilot Phase we can discuss the potential next steps.
