Have you visited Templemore Baths since it reopened in June 2023? Please complete the short survey below and tell us what you think of Templemore Baths redevelopment.
Templemore Baths is the sole surviving Victorian public baths in Ireland. In recent years, many of the building’s original features had fallen into disrepair. This ambitious project aimed to sympathetically restore these features and to bring historic stories of the baths back to life, via a new interpretative experience. The £17 million redevelopment and expansion was completed in June 2023. The council contributed £12 million towards the project with an additional £5 million of funding provided by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project was also made possible thanks to the transfer of the former Templemore Avenue Hospital site from the Department for Communities to Belfast City Council. This survey will help us gather feedback on this redevelopment. Survey data will also be shared with RF Associates who are compiling a post project evaluation report. This report will be shared with The National Lottery Heritage Fund, as a record of what their £5 million contribution has helped to achieve.
