In recent years, Belfast has seen a growth in the number of people participating in sport. Whilst we welcome this, we know it has increased the pressure and demand for sports pitches and other outdoor sports facilities across the city.
We want to encourage participation in sport, so to help ensure the city can meet growing needs, we are developing a new 10 Year Playing Pitches and Outdoor Sports Facilities Strategy.
We need your help to inform and shape this new strategy.
In the first instance, we want to hear from sports clubs about their current usage and future needs.
To make it easier to collect information and other feedback, we’ve developed a detailed survey for sports clubs. The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
