    Blackstaff River Walk & Heritage Trail

    Blackstaff Residents' Association was formed nearly 55 years ago. Involved in every major development throughout what is now known as the Blackstaff Council Ward. The proposal was first outlined by our association in the 1980s. Throughout the years there has been a number of name changes. In a Belfast Telegraph report 21 November 2014, it stated that Belfast's new green gateway ... a park on either side of theM1. This turned out to be untrue as it is to be confined to the West Belfast side of the Westlink before entering the future Transport Hub. Our association has been ignored and South Belfast has been left out of the plans.
