The Belfast Agenda is Belfast’s first community plan.
We want a city that provides a high quality of life for everyone who lives here and we want to make the city a great place for the many people who come here to work, study, visit or set up and grow their business.
This plan sets out our long term ambitions for Belfast’s future and outlines our priorities for action over the next four years. We’re leading the community planning process and we’re working with a number of partner organisations to develop the plan. And we’ve used what people in Belfast have told us so far about the city they want to see in 2035 and the things we should be working on now to make that happen.
We’re still developing the Belfast Agenda. During this consultation period we want as many people as possible to tell us what they think about it. This will help us improve the plan and ensure that it reflects the shared ambitions of people and communities across Belfast.
We have developed an on-line survey to help you get involved and tell us your views. This survey is broken into sections/chapters and includes a lot of relevant information from the draft Belfast Agenda to make it easier to understand and complete. Simply click on the headings with the arrows to see more information.
You can download a copy of the draft Belfast Agenda and a four page summary by clicking on the relevant document links at the bottom of this page.
We are also seeking views on two related documents - the Equality Impact Assessment and the Strategic Environmental Assessment. To respond to the consultations on these related documents please click on the relevant links at the bottom of this page.
