The current play area is a temporary use that is intended to remain on site until the permanent project is delivered. Options to relocate this use when work commences on the permanent project, are currently under review.
Will the Active Travel Hub still be located on Cathedral Gardens?
Yes, as a temporary meanwhile use as this permanent project is being developed.
Is the artist impressions the final design?
No. The design is for consultation purposes and may change dependant upon any feedback we receive.
Has agreements with neighbouring stakeholders and statutory agencies been formalised?
No. This will form part of the process of the next stage.
Will Rinty Monaghan's statue remain as part of Cathedral Gardens?
