Age-friendly Belfast Survey; 2017 and Beyond

Closed 30 Jun 2017

Opened 24 Mar 2017

The Age-friendly Belfast vision is that Belfast will be a city where older people live life to the fullest.

In 2013, Belfast was the first city in Northern Ireland to join the World Health Organisation's Global Network of Age-friendly Cities. An Age-friendly city is defined as an inclusive and accessible urban environment that promotes active ageing.

Since 2013, the Age-friendly Belfast team have been talking to older people. This has helped us to develop the Age-friendly Belfast Plan 2014-2017.

It’s 2017 now and we want to develop a new 3 year Age-friendly Plan for older people and we would like to hear the views of everyone aged 50+.

Why We Are Consulting

Completing this questionnaire will help us to measure how well we are progressing. We would like to know:

  • what has worked well?
  • what do we need to do more off?
  • what needs to improve and how can we make things better?

We would like to thank you for taking the time to complete our questionnaire.
